UX Design Principal (UX Lead)

Our Club Practice Group
This role sits within one of our Clubs (business unit) in a senior team called the Practice Group. These people inspire and challenge our ANDi’s to grow into exceptional digital experts, through teaching, mentoring, coaching and thought leadership. While creating spaces beyond the day to day to guide clients on how best to approach their problems. Finally, as a Principal, you will collaborate in the business development process, applying your skills to qualify the potential and maximise the value of new engagements.
The UX Part
As a UX Principal, you will deliver world class customer experiences for our clients, as a result, you will need to be able to:
Exhibit a wealth of UX design digital experience; including user research
Demonstrate experience of working in multiple work streams in complex agile environments
Show validated knowledge and experience of applying brands to digital platforms
Guide client teams and ANDi’s on best practice in visual design, user experience and design development, as well as delivering design outputs of your own.
Possess client facing skills demonstrating a mix of advising, implementing and delivering, sometimes across multiple clients
Demonstrate deep mobile, web and responsive environment experience
Display exceptional knowledge of prototyping and design tools such as Sketch, Marvel, Invision and Figma
Have knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript and an ability to work alongside our technical architects and developers
Inspire Others
Remain hands on by championing and influencing the design direction of projects
Provide guidance and strategic advice to clients; be able to observe the problems closely and propose solutions
Coach, mentor and upskill a team through implementing design best practices such as research, sketching, wireframing, user centric design etc.
Be hands-on with product teams; you’ll understand what good looks like and guide them to visualise the bigger picture
Give and receive regular feedback to help the design community within your Club to develop and be more effective on client projects

Either desire to one day get into commercials, proposals and Club management OR desire to one day be a senior advisor on a tech/discipline board, remaining as close to the design build as possible.
