The Role

Following a recent period of growth in our Tech team, we’re looking for a Product Manager to join us at our office in Exeter, UK. Working with cross-functional project teams, you will be responsible for the ownership and delivery of high quality Web and App products to millions of users. You will be working closely with the Product Team Lead to deliver the business vision, mission and goals.

Collaborating with users and stakeholders, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying and prioritising user and business needs; effectively translating these into clear, concise and well organised user stories, product backlogs, roadmaps and milestones. You will champion the product vision and must be comfortable with saying “No” more than saying “Yes”, in order to keep teams focused on delivering value.

Working with cross-functional project teams, including developers, designers and community managers, you will be identifying solutions for user and business needs. You will work collaboratively with the teams, effectively and clearly communicating business value and involving them in strategy and decision-making.

The role requires that you take ownership of the delivery of products, working closely with project team leads to define requirements and quality criteria, in the form of acceptance criteria or “definitions of done”. You should be comfortable with hands-on testing, as well as working closely with quality assurance engineers.

We’re looking for someone who is highly adaptable, can demonstrate delivery of high quality products and excels at communication with users and stakeholders. If you are excited about the prospect of working in an environment where you chart the course of the product, rather than delivering requirements handed down from the top, then apply without delay.

We are unable to sponsor international visas and you must have the right to live and work in the UK.

Salary

£40,000 – £50,000 a year, depending on your experience level.
