Tell me about the role.
As a UX Specialist at LMS365, you will be a key contributor to our mission of enhancing user experience. This role requires a holistic understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to construct a comprehensive framework for UX improvements across our product suite. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and UI designers, to drive the evolution of our product interfaces.

Your responsibilities include:

Your day as UX Specialist will be dynamic and multifaceted, filled with exciting challenges and opportunities for growth. Your key responsibilities day to day will be:

  • Strategic UX Leadership: Lead the strategic vision for UX design, aligning it with LMS365’s business goals and objectives. Collaborate with senior leadership, including the Executive Vice President of Product or Product Director, to set the UX direction.
  • UX Framework Development: Develop and implement a framework for UX design that ensures consistency, usability, and accessibility across all LMS365 products.
  • User Research: Conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gather insights into user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
  • Usability testing: Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to validate design concepts and gather user feedback. Iterate on designs based on test results and feedback.
  • UX Design: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate your design concepts. Ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience, considering both web and mobile platforms.
  • Collaboration with UI Design: Collaborate closely with the UI design team to bridge the gap between user experience and visual design, ensuring the final product meets both functional and aesthetic standards.
  • Project Leadership: Lead UX design initiatives, including the strategic project to re-design our UX, from concept to delivery. Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables effectively.

Where is the job based?
This position is to be based in Denmark or the UK with the availability to work remotely or in a hybrid fashion. We have offices in Copenhagen and Aarhus in Denmark and Wrexham in the UK.

What skills or experience are we looking for?
Many, but this specific role would be a great fit if you have:

  • Proven experience as a UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects and your contribution to enhancing user experiences.
  • Prior experience leading UX design efforts and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including UI designers and developers.
  • Familiarity with B2B SaaS products, HR Tech, or Learning Management Systems is a plus.

 

Skills:

  • Proficiency in UX design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar software.
  • Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
  • Ability to conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, and translate findings into actionable design improvements.
  • Experience with creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines and resources for UX initiatives.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and an ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
